Following the end of my first relationship, I was overwhelmed with heartbreak and deep emotional turmoil. I created this painting as an outlet to express the pain I felt. The composition features layered and overlapping bodies, symbolizing the weight and complexity of loss. I chose muted tones to represent the death of the relationship, with the figures appearing lifeless yet alive—an embodiment of how I felt at the time. Through this piece, I sought to convey a sense of emotional decay and the haunting aftermath of love lost.
